Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) – Block 1 Sustainment Program

From 2014 to 2018, SKSG provided the sustainment and maintenance of integrated sensor towers deployed in Arizona for the CBP Block-1 System. Performed O&M services including field repair, supply support, and maintenance for the following Block-1 activities and installations: 14 Integrated Fixed Sensor Towers (IFSTs) and communications towers in Tucson, AZ; 9 IFSTs and communications towers in Ajo, AZ; CBP’s Test Facility at Playas, NM; and CBP’s Primary Support Facility (PSF) located in Tucson, AZ. SKSG Field Technicians and Sensor Specialists provided PM and CM until when these sites were decommissioned by SKT’s subsidiary (International Towers, LLC) and replaced with CBP IFT installations (constructed by ITL).
